Close and good fight but its pretty clear, the officials in america really are TRASH, so biased they dont even need brown envelopes, that ref cost khan the win but at the end of the day he needs to shoulder some of the blame himself, he didnt deal with the pressure put on him consistently well and paid the price

The American referees favor American fighters, just like referees favor home fighters in all countries.

The referees for big fights should be from NEUTRAL countries.

You could be right, but **** happens.
Amir made plenty noise about going into the guy's backyard and Lamont took a paycut for it to happen.
Need to deal with it I'm afraid.

Mayweather was deducted a point for pushing off against Castillo. Berto was deducted a point for holding.

Khan shouldn't have been pushing off with his hands and extending his arms all the way. Should have used his shoulder. Kid needs to go see one of the Mayweathers or Muhammad and learn a thing or two.

So Khan wasn't fouling last night?

he thought he was Floyd pushing away with the forearm/elbow only Floyd is subtle. Khan was pushing Peterson across the right with his elbow in his face. let me know a country (except germany and your ukranian) where you can get away with that ****, lucky he didnt have another point taken for pushing his head down seriously

Apart from next weekend, Ward has managed to get all his fights in Oakland so has never heard the word 'WARNING'. Ask Kessler!!

First, Khan is hardly a Ward or a Hopkins, else he would have known how to defend himself inside without having to run and foul.
Secondly, if the ref warns you repeatedly about fouling, and you continue to foul, until the ref makes good on this threat and you get a point deduction don't cry and whine like a British Bum.
You knew the deduction was coming, cause you were fouling, so don't act surprised.

If Froch decides he needs to push down on Ward's head every time he comes in, and the ref warns him a dozen times for fouling, I hope the Ref deducts a point from Froch, and if he continues to foul, hit him again. If it becomes outright fragrant, then it may warrant a DQ.

personally i thought the point deductions were a load ****. in a big fight like that you dont take away points for small infractions even lamont said it didnt bother him. now if it was rabbit punching, low blows, kidney shots, headbutts or elbows then fair enough there serious fouls but pushing a guy leaning against you isnt that bad and i dont think the outcome of the fight shouldve been decided because of it

Find me another fight where a guy gets 2 points taken for pushing off. It's probably never happened in a major fight.

Floyd wasn't subtle at all with that ****, at a couple of different points he was basically performing a forearm choke on Hatton in full view of the ref and everyone.

Exactly, you take points for headbutts or low blows or when someone is spoiling a fight with excessive holding, not ****ing pushing.

If pushing is a serious foul then Dawson should have been disqualified for his body check on Hopkins.
