Would Wilder hit harder if he puts 20 lbs muscle to his skinny legs?

Power comes from leverage, not muscle..................

Power doesn't come from any one thing; it's a combination of factors, of which muscular exertions play a part.

Skinny legs never seemed to diminish Tommy Hearns' punching power.

As with most ladies, wilder will put weight on her hip and thigh. It definitely will increase her purse swing power. Lol

God yes. Weight helps you with punch resistance and punching power.

The real question that needs asking is: How much LESS hard would Wilder hit if he used proper technique rather than his windmill punching technique. He can get away using those looping punches against Boxrec #75 opponents but top 5 fighters would attempt to counter him through the middle.

He'd prob take a shot a bit better off of a firmer base.

He might be wary of throwing the heavy looping shots after injuring himself last time out. I don't think he can throw too hard against the pole.
