I know, that's why I said let's see AJ stop Stiverne, and then I'll believe he can blitz guys like Wilder with ease.
I'd go out on a limb and say Wilder probably has a better chin than friggin Breazeale, and AJ would not try to bumrush Deontay. It won't be whoever lands first, because they'd both fight cautiously.
No he wouldn't bum rush him. He'd just drill him with a big right hand straight away lol. In round 1. Too much firepower and not enough footwork for this to go past 5 rounds. Joshua has slow feet and wilders footwork is lame.
Wilder stood up from bombs from a guy who KO'd Arreola, a guy who KO'd Helenius, a guy who KO'd Adamek, I'm pretty sure he can stand up to a bomb from a guy who KO'd Breazeale and Martin.
What bombs exactly are you talking about? Stiverne never hit him flush, and Duhaupas for the most part was only hitting him with the jab. Never once did he land the kind of shot that planted Helenius.
Based on what? Gift decisions against Kassi, and Kaufmann? Life and death battle with journeyman Curtis Harper? Breazeale is awful.. and i'd certainly pick a prime Arreola to beat him. But Arreolas recent performances suggest that he's no better and more likely than not worse currently... Martin and Whyte are better than Arreola too at this point.
There is no possible way he escapes the first 180 seconds on his feet, Joshua has enough power in one jab to knock him down
Even if he was, and he isn't, Arreola isn't there to win. He has been gifted a payday he couldn't even dream of ever seeing again in his state, at the condition that he stays quiet and lays down sooner or later :verysad
