Since all the Joshua talk Wilders profile has risen more than it has in all his previous career, beating a legit name like Ortiz and Fury next is going to increase it even more but what will it take for America to fall in love with Wilder like the Brits have with Joshua.

If he was British he would be adored and be a super star by now making so much money, but then if he was British he would of been expected to of created a way better resume by now than he holds. But even if he lost hed still be loved, the Brits dont give up on a guy when he has lost like they seem to do in America which makes them so scared to risk that 0.

But that aside, and for all the bitchiness i throw his way, hes great for the sport and his fights are exciting, every single time. He seems to me to be everything an American casual Boxing fan craves. So whats he gotta do?

Don't worry about that, Wilder will be fine after beating the man who beat the man who will be in top shape in
november, he is going to knock him out clean on the chin, it will be like slicing a thin slice of cheese.

So beating Fury is going to be the corner turned? Into the big time? PPV star? Sell out venues?

Probably not yet in the US but in the UK his profile will rise enough to give him a better position in negotiations.
After he beat Tyson Fury, they can't give him less than 60/40, the Joshua fight will be the fight which will turn
    him into a star.

No. It takes a lot more than merely being an undisputed champion to be a star in the United States. Wilder will make tons of money by becoming Undisputed Champ, but I still don't see him being a major star. Even Floyd didn't become a mainstream star until he fought and beat Oscar (Biggest star in boxing at the time & a major attraction), had a match with Bigshow at Wrestlemania, appeared on Dancing with the Stars, and also showcased the 24/7 series for the Oscar fight and all other fights after. Floyd also associated him self with popular celebrities such as 50 Cent and when 50 Cent was no longer popular Floyd associated himself with Justin Bieber. I don't see Wilder putting in all the work Floyd did in order to become a mainstream attraction.

I think if he beat Fury in a big ppv fight debut, then beat AJnext year, it would make him a big American star. Probably not at the Tyson Holyfield level, not sure America can get there again, but maybe the rung below. Say what you will about him, but he is exciting to watch and has a mouth. If he proves himself the best in two high profile fights I think it would do the trick.

If Wilder would have taken the 15 mill and clean beat AJ imo he COULD of become THE main man in boxing.

    As of April 2019!?!?!?

However, he choose to duck and claim AJ didn’t really want to fight him.

IF Wilder beats AJ in April he makes FAR and AWAY more career money then he will if he WAITs longer to beat AJ.

Only a moron would argue otherwise.

Wilder wants to be the TOP guy before he beats the TOP guy and only his weird delusional fans (most of who come here to ESB) support his out of ring BS.

Not saying all his fans are the extreme delusional type, most aren’t, simply pointing out the messed up percentage (mostly here at ESB) that have become sexually hypnotized by his out of ring BS. Because they are weak minded and horny.

Inside the ring I am still a fan of Wilder as the guy is exciting as they come because of his crazy power alone, not to mention he goes crazy windmilling sometimes all over the ring, the guy should and could of been such a far bigger draw by now, it’s crazy, freaking crazy and the idiots at ESB that TRY to claim it’s the FANs fault (or the UK fans fault or Eddie Hearns or etc), seriously, they need their legs broken. Because it would teach them to be better human beings on this planet.

I’m just joking you morons, take it easy, this is a freakin boxing forum of fun, don’t force me to kick all your teeth down your throats you weak minded Wilder sluts. Yes he is a good looking fella, fine, but crap have some self respect ffs, throwing yourselves at him doesn’t help you or him, it’s just cringe af you yellow bellied sap suckers.

Just remember what happened to Blizzy when he fell too hard for Wilder, that’s all I ask of this wonderful place we all call ESB.

Would just like to point out that he will never, ever, under any circumstances become undisputed, it is a moot point.

They could ask this in philosophy class around with how many angels...if a tree falls in the woods...and the sound of one hand clapping.

to put it in context surprised to read that
david haye and wlad klitchko got a 500,000,000 tv audience worldwide.

joshua got 300k american audience v takam

america pricing fights at $50 to $100 is crippling viewing figures and has made boxing into a middle class niche sport

uk is following suit with £20
    it was £10 then £15 now £20

in 2 or 3 years it will be £30

I could see ellerbe and MVC exploding on each other if Wilder became undisputed and there would be NOTHING wrong with it.

It’s crazy how much you American fans disagree with the more logical Brit fans.

And I’m not American or Brit, i am global.

Stop getting so triggered yoyo, it turns you into a yellow bellied dingaling.
