Possibly, but Joshua should be the heavy favorite based off of their last Performances.

Wilder would never have beaten Joshua, although I'd love to see them fight next, not to silence the critics (who'll just claim Wilder was shot anyway) but to see Wilder brutally faceplanted in one round like this guy:

    Wilder is a can crusher.

    AJ ain’t a can however.

    AJ stops him inside 3.

No, sadly I don't think it would be a good idea for the Wilder we saw against Parker to ever get in a ring with a top HW again. He looks to be done with the sport, which makes me hope that he's not tempted by whatever offer may be made to him down the line. His limitations are obvious but he's a brave man and it would be horrible to see that bravery jeopardise his long term health.

I don't know how anyone can watch Wilder's performance against Parker and conclude that he stands a chance with any top HW. He's always been limited, but if he can't get his shot off he has literally no path to victory. He's not going to start outboxing opponents at 38 and Joshua hasn't showed anything like the signs of slippage we saw in Wilder's last outing. Deontay needs to retire and enjoy the fruits of his labour.

What do you consider prime Wilder? A guy who went life and death with 156 year old Ortiz?

Wilder never had the tools to beat Joshua even in his prime. Just because you have the power to KO a fighter doesn't mean you will, you still have to land and Wilder only ever had the right hand and Joshua's weakness is to the left not the right as shown when he was rocked by Whyte, stopped by Ruiz and against the southpaw left of Usyk. Wilder would never land his right hand, it's too predictable and easy to avoid as Parker showed. Yes Fury got caught with it but his hand low down style has seen him dropped a lot during his career by guys worse than Wilder and unlike Joshua, Fury has always been open to right hands.

Wilder is done. Parker toyed with him. Davidson's done great work on AJ so any former negatives have been corrected plus fighting C and D level opponents has given AJ confidence....or a false sense of security.

People act like all The Dosser has to do is punch AJ on the chin and it's over. Problem is the same applies in reverse and AJ is much better technically, much more skillful, has fought much better quality of opposition, and much more skilled guys and much more punchers too. The Dosser has fought four world champions in 47 fights and he's 3-3-1 against them but should be 3-4

And it gets even worse because 2 of his 3 wins came against shot versions of Liakhovich and Stiverne and his sole win over a prime world champion was against a sick Stiverne who is one of the worst HW champs of all time when healthy and he has never beaten a world champion himself

The skill level of The Dosser's opposition is terrible and he lost to most of the world class skilled guys he fought

Please let's put a fork in this irrelevant cooked chicken's ass once and for all. AJ is on a completely different level to him

Three fight being pushed back with constant pressure and that was enough work to fold wilder
After years of one two round fights against bums as a champion
When he faces that real level hes done lofl
    Maybe he just never was

If we use AJ fan logic, yes. The reason? He beat Helenius faster, so that means he’d beat A.J. Forget about style match-ups.
