I went on boxrec to the encylopedia page to read the details of last nights fight and saw the little bullet on how HBO turned down Kirkland conqueror Ishida

Could Ishida have beaten Williams last night?

He has quick hands and straight punches like the guys who beat and trouble Williams

Im just bringing up a question, Williams looked pretty bad last night

Ishida may have been a flash in the pan or just got Kirkland at the right time but this fight was a possibility just wanted to see what you guys thought

    Same judges?

Anyways, this time it probably wouldn't matter, I'd still favor Williams.

Hard to say. Ishida was supposedly robbed vs. Canelo's brother for the world title then wiped the floor with Kirkland but that's the only input I have on him, impressive but hard to put into perspective. Nobuhiro has quick, crisp punches and nice counters, but remember he's a righty and the shot that always gave PTP problems is the southpaw left.

Agreed i have limited knowledge of Ishida but from what little i have seen he has good skills and some of the tools necessary to trouble Williams

though Williams may be on a different level
