Would Winky Wright have the best chance to beat Floyd Mayweather at 147?

    All though I think Wright's best weight is 154. I think with his style which can be booring at times which is why I think he has the best chance to beat Mayweather. I can see him staying in his turtle shell defense and keeping his distance and jabing. While Mayweather can be agresive he perfers to let his opoent come to him. It might not make for an exciting fight but I think Wright could be more effective than any potential opoent that Mayweather could have faced.

    I think Pacquaio will try to bring too much excitment to the fight. As a boxing fan I'm all for this. However If I'm planing out a stragity to beat Mayweather excitment would not be in my game plan. Which is while I don't think Wright would beat Mayweather his style would be my blueprint so to speak.

    Im not sure you will see Winky south of middleweght from here on in...No way at 38 is he making welter with no ill effects.

    At 154 prime winky would beat Floyd, he wouldnt get too welterweight.

    I was thinking more on the lines of a hypothetical match up more than a realistic match up. Sorry I should have been more clear. However if Mayweather moves up in weight their paths could meet.

    I wouldnt count on it mate...Winky was never a HBO darling and now he has lost his last two fights I dont see anyone going out of their way to face him.
