Funny you would say that. Peter is supposed to have an iron chin, wlad is supposed to have a glass chin but in their fight peter is the only one who was ever seriously hurt.

Hard to say. It's possible that Peter's chin may be overrated (like his power), as most people are basing this on his fight with Wlad (no one else has bothered to throw much firepower at him, and they have all pretty much been bums anyway) in which Wlad seemed to holdback for the sake of protecting himself. I suppose in a rematch we see a more agressive Wlad, which would make a knockout a greater possibility, but still unlikely.

Well I'm shocked that you Zakman are picking a a fighter based soley on "chin" :yep

In reality Wladimir KO's the Pretender mid rounds next time.

In time it wil be realized, Peter is vastly overrated. Wladimir will knock him out in any rematch by round six. Vitaly will do the same.

That's why WLAD looked like a bad morph of Lil' Floyd's back peddling and John Ruiz' man-humping for 12 rounds. :nut

Peter 10-8'd all the KD rounds while KLIT 10-9'd all of the "Jab & Grab" rounds.

Make no mistake, they won't fight again. If they did WLAD's only shot is to do what he did before, which could play out the same.
More than likely though, if they fought again this more refined as opposed to green Peter, would KO KLIT like he was Taurus Sykes. Don't think that the "confident WLAD," who fought the shell of Brewster and Ray "Who...???" Austin, would dare step in the ring for a slug fest with Peter.

    Zackman,

Wlad has a glas jaw but he got knocked down 3 times the 1st fight and still won by 3 points on all judges scorecards. What does that say? Peter has ZERO skill. I believe Glass jaw Wlas and Vitali would konock him out if they fought again Wlad has a lot of confidence right now. Vitali Klitschko would make Peter's face look like the Elephant Man.

Let's be fair - he was the one taking massive punches on a regular basis

Being more aggressive also means you more open as well. I'd pick Wlad, but I doubt he can KO him.

    :good INdeed.

Wlad would be full of confidence this time, and once Peter was hurt, he'd finish him off, being the first to KO Peter. :good

That sounds good to think Wlad would hurt and followup with a KO this time, but it would all be up to Steward. Steward was the one who said, Just box. Go for speed, don't worry about power...............

So if Steward thought Wlad could finish Peter off, he may tell him to give it a go, but, I think Steward would probably not risk it, and would tell Wlad the same thing, again, Don't worry about power, just box.

Me, I wanted to see him jump on the hurt Sam Peter and finish him off, but I think they saw that the fight was already won, and didn't want to risk anything.

To Zakman, it seems, the entire spectrum of boxing ability begins and ends with the all-defining, all-encompassing chin.

Long post but worth it. Good read. It echos my opinion exactly. Many here thought Peter improved dramatically after the 2nd Toney fight but I believe it was Toney who declined making Peter look good. Toney's next fight proves that point.

Oh please. More refined Peter? How so? Because he beat an undersized, flat footed, way out of shape shell of the former James Toney? That same Toney went on to struggle vs. Batchelder.

How long do you think that version of Toney would last against the current version of Wladimir?

To be fair Peter has shown some slight improvements but Klitschko has improved a lot and with each fight since.

That part is true, Wladimir opening up and going all out for the KO would leave him open to a Hail Mary punch, but I think Wlad waits until he has Sam hurt enough so that retaliation by Peter isn't really a threat.

Yeah, Wlad would soften him up over 8 rounds or so then really sit down on his punches vs a tired/battered Peter

The One who professes to hate Wlad and his brother, but who always has an opinion on him.:hi: You Sir need to stop riding the Klitschko's.
