My predictio for the fight isn't really based on thinking highly of Wlad it's more a reflection of how lowly I think of peter. You say Wlad hasn't done anything since beating peter, what has peter done since losing to Wlad? He struggled and got a gift against Toney the first time IMO and beat him the second time but Toney's figth after that showed us just how significant that win was.

Except that he lost the first fight clearly.

Peter has yet to KO a top 25 Heavyweight. If he does not KO Maskaev then that means two 100% Grade A China Chins have survived his power.

40oz opines in his classy manner...
Your're right, he did beat the ****ing **** out of Brock, Austin, and Brewster.

Btw, not long ago wasn't Brew supposed to be one of the "saviors" of the HWT division? :rofl Now he's a has been?? Hell, I don't think the white wolf is that good. :D And Brock is a joke? Why just because he got KTFO by Wlad? I've noticed a trend with Wlad haters over the years. They will disparage anybody to take away from Wlads wins. What's so damn threatening to you people by this fighter. Is your life any worse off (unless you've been making big bets against Wlad lately) because he's currently the best HWT right now? Or do you enjoy a sport only if someone you can identify with is winning? :verysad

:rofl Not too far from the truth, that's the sad part. Oleg may prove to be too good of a boxer/puncher for Sammy or maybe Oleg's style is made to order for Peter. Either way, claiming Peter will KO both brothers at this point is beyond reality.

You could easily direct that statement to Wladimir just as you did for Peter.

Wlad beat Sam for a shot at Byrd, beat Brock as a voluntary defence, beat Austin as a mandatory & then Brewster as a voluntary.

A fighter can be called something great, like the next big thing in the division, or the savior of the division.......But for some strange reason, when Wlad pounds them, they suddenly become a has been, limited and overrated, or a never was, etc. Its NEVER that this fighter was really what he was touted as being, but was met by better opposition when Wlad proved he was better......No. Its never that.:blood

When Wlad beats them, one after another, they are suddenly taken off the Next Big Thing list, and moved over to the limited and overrated list, where we mistakenly should have put them in the first place.

What I can't understand is how are we misreading so many of these opponents Wlad is destroying.:blood

I agree with the most exciting part, and these are easy my two fave Heavies currently, but IMO this is a pick em' still as both have improved a good bit and I wouldn't bet money on either (would pay good money to watch it).

Fine. Peter is 2-0 aganst a 38 year old fomer middleweight who came into the fight with 38 DD man tits and struggled against a 24-4-1 nobody in his next fight despite being on steroids. Yes those were 2 very impressive wins.
