This era is so " weak " that he would be champ even without stewart..like you guys always say'ed
Well, he was a right hand banger IMO before Steward. A very good one too. He had a lot of potential, but didn't really use it. corea was a **** trainer for Lewis. Wouldn't have had the longevity he ended up with. Would have lost a couple more. The fight with Tua would have been extremely exciting though. It's hard to say. The fight with Briggs (even though he was with Steward) and Mercer are probably good pointers to how the rest of his career would have gone. More brawling, less boxing. I think Steward made him realise his potential. Kind of the same as he's doing with Wlad - except Wlad hasn't really been tested yet IMO. Peter is crude, and over rated IMO. I'd love to see Wlad fight Valuev, or Chageav, hell, anyone who's name ends in a 'v'
Wladmir would beat a Tyson that go out of Jail in 95. I don't know about Tyson during the early 90's though, I doubt Wladmir could beat the Tyson that was knocked out by Douglas. Holyfield was one hell of a fighter and underrated in terms of technical skills and toughness. I think a prime Evander would beat Wlad and possibly KO him because he had a granite chin, and good enough technical skills to trade blow for blow with Wladmir.
atsch Actually TYSONS lack of size is exactly why he wouldnt get close enough to VLAD ! MIKES approach is not to take 20 punches to land one either ! MIKE would get caught first hurt and turlte like he always did ! he couldnt handle HOLY tying him up on the inside and teeing off on him what in hell would he do with the much larger VLAD doing the same thing with 100 percent more firepower ! MIKE and HOLY are to small and BOWE and GOLOTA simply arent good enough ! :deal
atsch PRIME HOLY barly survived COOPER and was extended by a couple of grandfathers and beaton by a lightheavyweight ! he is grossly overrated and wouldnt last the distence against VLAD !:bart
And Wlad got knocked out by Sanders and Purity who are nobodys, Wlads chin would not let him compete well with the heavyweights of the 90s. If Tyson hit him with one left hook Wlad would go into panic mode and fall 10 times before the ref stops it, he cant handle pressure plain and simple.
When the hell did WALDO ever unload on a fighter on the inside? I want you to name me one example of this. This is the key to beating Tyson - forget the jab, Tyson can get past a jab. The fighters that Tyson lost to ALL unloaded uppercuts and could fight on the inside. When has WALD ever shown the slightest ability at doing this? Mike Tyson right up to 2002 would ****ing murder WALD, take it to the bank. I'd lay even money on WALD shitting his shorts on the way to the ring, too.
He did start boxing in the 90's, I believe he started in 96, but he didnt start fighting good oppenents until the 2000s. First being Chris Bryd in 2000 I think.
You're being unfair now....that was down to gas/hometown crowd/vaseline etc etc etc don't you know? Of course WALD would have beaten Tyson, Lewis and Holyfied, he was TALLER - how could you be a non-believer?? :nut :nut :nut
Now your starting to sound like that Wlad dick sucker Boxing Guru, he always has an excuse for why Wlad loses.:yep
atsch i said he would ty him up on the inside and then TEE OFF ON HIM ( it should be assumed that would mean on the outside since he would be tying him up on the inside ) ! ****ing moron ! And yes MIKE would be to ****ing small to beat VLAD ! live with it !:yep
Arent we talking about fighters at their best ? by your logic nobody who got starched by ROCK would be able to compete either ! but he did didnt he ! And he beat with ease all the fighers just mentioned ! And so would VLAD ! :deal
