I don't know how you could pick Waldo over a prime Holyfield. I just don't see it. Holyfield was relentless with an iron chin and decent power, plus better speed and reflexes than he shows today. That spells trouble all the way around for Waldo. The Lewis-Holyfield fights were a ****ing JOKE. Lewis barely beat a 37 year old Holyfield and you guys call him an ATG. I like Wlad Klits but let's face it he was Knocked out by Brewester, Ross PURITY, and part time golfer, Corrie Sanders, his shaky chin would've been tested and most likely have failed him against Bowe, Lewis, Nutcase IKE Ibecheri 'SPELLING" Morrison, Mercer, Tua, a young Mccall, Moorer, hell even Holyfield, Tyson and old man Foreman would have stopped him if they landed cleanly. Remember people Wlad Klits HAD to hold on for dear life 2 years ago to survive against Sam Peter, Peter is not on the same level as Bowe or Lewis, or even Holyfield of the 90's. Wlad Klits can box and has talent but his chin is brittle..:dead
True but then again, lewis got flatened by rahman and mCcall, two men wlad would ****ing destroy,so who knows for sure, would be some good fights though,he is also(wlad) strong as ****,id give him a chance against all in the 90s bar tyson before prison, though if douglas can do tyson, then why not wlad?
That was because Bowe was shot and Golota was pretty durable during that time. Bowe nearly KO'ed Holyfield in there first fight, he could definitely KO Wlad. Bowe's a bigger and faster puncher than Corrie Sandersn, sorry Wlad get's KOed by Bowe.
you obviously don't know anything about boxing, so I will shrug off your name calling due to a lack of knowledge and the insecurity that comes from it. Wlad beat Mercer in 2002, now, I forgive you that you do not know when one decade ends, and when one begins or the difference between the way a man fights when he is 41 and the way that he fights when he is six seven years younger. Especially a fighter whos main attribute was wearing his opponent down and then getting to them, but that would take being smart about the way different opponents match up, being smart, I don't know if you're ready for that yet. Have you ever heard of a fighter named Lennox Lewis? Have you ever seen the Mercer vs Lewis fight? Are Wlad and Lewis not trained by the same man? Would you say that Wlad and Lewis are similar in size and in many ways fighting style? Are you saying that the Mercer who fought Lewis in 1996 (thats six years for an already older heavyweight, in case you need help with the counting) would not give Wlad a tough fight? Tell you what, go rent yourself some tapes, maybe read up on a few fights or two, and stop with the name calling, you only are opening up yourself to be humiliated.
I have no doubt that Wlad would not only survive but he would thrive in the 90's. Of that much I'm certain. :deal
They both have weak chins with great overall skills and power, they are quite comparable in that respect.
Today's heavyweights might not be the most skilled or the fastest but let's not kid ourselves and claim that today's heavys have no power. Power is one of the last traits to go in a fighter so even Tua, Tyson, Briggs, Moorer, Bowe, etc. all still have that ability in today's landscape.
