With those devastating right hands and hooks that he had in the arsenal never dropped in power over the years he could also afford some clinches to the limits of the regulation against some fighters to catch his breath and break their eventuali dangerous attacks. However he gave all imo during his career, the same his brother.

    E. Steward turned him in a super athlete and a complete fighter. The fighter that in the reality was closer to Ivan Drago than the others.

Still successful. Perhaps even more dangerous because without clinching being his go-to defense, he would have to pull the trigger more to establish a threat.

Difficult tp say in all honesty. I'm sure he would have developed another strategy if he'd been punished but we will never really know.
The fact is that era wasn't greay with manu opponents just turning up for a paycheck. So then the queation is who could have taken advantage of this? Again it's not an easy question to answer.

Not sure why you've put the RT nonsense there as some kind of answer to my comment whilst at the same time skirting around & ignoring the comment from B.U. - He hates Klitschkos, cause they are fighting to defend Ukraine - simple as that-
If its about them fighting to protect the homeland then your a feeble spunkbubble & would deserve to be ridiculed as an undoubted little wanker...why , in this answer to my post that you quoted, did you ignore B.U. Comment...why answer at all if you were not going to address his comment that inspired mine ?

Probably. Wlad had quick feet and quick feet an offense . He really didn't need to clinch as much as he did.

Hey man, that's the kronk style as taught by Manny (rip) Lewis created it (vs Michael grant and Tyson to an effect) wlad decorated it. The reason why wlad lost the Brewster fight was because he was gassed. It takes a lot of energy to keep a big body moving like that. The clinching, holding, and waiting... Gave him some time to take breaks during the fight whereas pre Brewster he was shooting his load (and gassing out early) look at him in the Brewster fight! He trying to switch styles lol to become a man hugger!

He didn't perfect it overnight but good things take time to create! So essentially as he became a pawing jabber like throwing it out just to pester the opponent not hurt him was also a good defence. (A great offence is a good defence etc etc) this kept the left side of his face protected with the shoulder always being pumped out there or else back to his chin when not throwing. Also his productivity went down, he became a one two fighter. His best weapon a straight right hand, was designed to kill but lulled more fans asleep as he never threw it regularly.

This kept his right glove tucked nice for defence. So essentially he wasn't afraid of anything coming to his head by way of smaller opponents.

So his kronk style: was good for pacing oneself, taking rounds to get it done, conserved energy, zap energy of the opponent, was definitely safer than his old reckless style, he was tailor made for this style! Aka had all the tools to be as offensively talented as he needed to be to pull it off!

What was the refree looking for, since he was looking where he needed to be?
Did he see a hot woman in the audience, or did he have a view of 1000 miles?
The recording is slow and you can see how after the headbutt Tyson Fury turns to the referee. Or the refree just doesn’t have the courage to warn Wlad (meaning he’s allowed a headbutt).

My question for the whole forum is: if you are a Wlad fan, should you justify things like this?
Do you need to lose so much objectivity?

His egg chin was protected when it should have been rocked.
