Would Yanki diaz get a boost and a possible rematch IF Gomez beats Klitschko??

    not really arguing with you man. the american heavy scene at the time really had nothing more to offer than barret and brewster. they were the 2 more prominent american heavys from that era that got tv fights and stick out in my memory. anyways, back to topic. i dont really care how relevant brewster was because this thread is about yanqui diaz, who is absolutely miserable.

    read somewhere that Gomez trained so little for his fight against Diaz that he had the fight changed from a 10 rounder to an 8 rounder

    Yanqui Diaz is an awful fighter...he looked like absolute garbage against Sam Peter. Wasn't that fight on the undercard of the Mayweather/Bruseles fight?

    Nonetheless, Diaz is not very good and he made JCG look like a joke. Oh well, it's not a very good indicator for either man...just got caught and couldn't recover.

    So noone thinks that Gomez will want to redeem that loss on his record to Diaz if he becomes champ?
