Would you agree that Usyk, Fury, Joshua, Dubois and Parker are the top five heavies of the era?

In truth Ruiz's win is better than Parker's whole career.
If Parker had gone for it in his fight with the same opponent he may have done the same thing but he didn't believe in himself enough, even though jesus was walking beside him the whole time.

 

I think Dubois belongs to the generation that comes after the Usyk, Joshua, Fury and Wilder era. In my opinion, we're now moving toward the Itauma era. Boxers like Dubois, Kabayel and Wardley belong to a transitional generation between the Usyk/Joshua/Fury/Wilder era and the upcoming Itauma era.

 

The top 3 is fairly clear............................Dubois and Parker are extremely debatable (especially Parker). When we're talking about top, we are not only including wins but losses and how they lost. It's funny that a man who clearly wasn't top 5 has knockout wins over both of them. And before anyone says Joshua lost to someone clearly outside, he avenged that loss, then two other losses were against the absolute apex predator of the era, his last he was already post prime.

Honestly I'm not sure the era deserves a top 5, just stop at 3

 

Man people are really getting ahead of themselves with Itauma. It's his era now? Can he at least get a career best win against Hrgovic first?

Itauma is looking very good at this point but how does he look moving forward from this point as he progresses with his career and for me Itauma is nowhere near as active as he should be !

 

No Kabayel was apart of this older Era he just didn't contribute much or get any opportunities

 

In terms of resume that seems about right. Whether thats actually the top 5 in terms of head to head ability is a different debate though.

 

And Parker beat Ruiz, so not entirely sure what your point is.

 

Why are Martin, Takam, Breazeale, Helanius, Wallin considered notwworthy wins ? Even Pulev was 40 yrs old and didn't beat anyone of note in the run up to that.

Yet again Joshua's resume is propaganda and extremely overrated
