Just been thinking about what Ward will do in the future and his likely eventual rise to the LHW division. If Bute wins against Froch of course he'll have to take that fight before moving up but thats the only fight for him at SMW. Would he beat Bhop, Dawson, Pascal, Cloud and Campillo with ease? Who would give him the biggest problems out of the lot? Or is there anyone at SMW you would prefer him to face apart from Bute (if he beats Froch?)
Yeag I see him beating everyone in that list once he moves up. The only one I can see him struggling with and potentially losing to is Hopkins, though I'm hoping that that fight doesn't happen and that B-Hop will be happily settled into retirement by the time Andre is at 175. Hopkins still has the ring smarts to out do him I feel but the truth is they both are very similar in style & ability. If they were to fight at this time or in the future, the freshness and stamina of Ward would likely be the main factor in deciding the outcome of the fight IMO.
It'd be a horrendous fight to watch But yeah I fully agree with the assessment, I wouldn't want to see Bhop lose to watch but I would be fascinated to see exactly the gameplan Ward would try to implement in that fight, he'd realise that Bhop is the one fighter about that would know how to cope with Ward on the inside and give him a fight there. :deal Without a doubt, I struggle to see them winning a round. Overall the LHW needs a shot in the arm, the talent at the top is incredibly thin. Sillakh needs to get himself a big fight sharpish.
Yep agreed, Pascal has been saying Silakh is full of **** and doesn't want hard fights. Hopefully the kid steps up he could easily beat Cleverly and Cloud in space of 3 months...
I still hold a lot of hope for Chad Dawson , i truly believe he has all the tools necessary to go down as one of the modern greats As for Ward , its difficult to see anybody currently @168 or 175 beating him , he's just excellent in every area @ SMW Bute is his biggest problem @ LHW Dawson is his biggest problem IMO apart from them 2 i think he beats everybody else comfortably
I hold hope to, me and Slip rated him extremely high but it looks for all those tools he doesn't hold the one to mold them all together. Mentality!. I wish he fought the Pascal like he did in last few rounds. When he opened up boy he was good...

To temper the Dawson remarks somewhat, Pascal was a bit knackered late on in that fight. On the whole though I agree, Dawson is a potentially great fighter if he sorts his head out. Ward beats everyone currently at LHW though. Nard makes him work for it though.
