Leonard did after all beat the one of the best slicksters at ww, one of the best boxer-brawlers (even though I have a hard time seeing that as a totally conclusive win, given how Duran quit) and one of the best boxer-punchers. He's 3-1 against these formidable fighters at ww. Very few, if any, fighters are that proven at any weight.

  3. do you think that leonard(mw) could have beat lamotta?

Of course. I'm not saying he would, but he certainly could. I'd probably make him a slight favourite.

"God-technician" sounds cool, though. Is it Kalule you're thinking of? Is it something with his name?

  9. i think that lamotta would be too much for leoard at mw, too strong, too big, too savage, iron chin, too much heart , too much pressure. but leonard was great, he would have his chance of course.

Hagler was plenty strong and had a chin as good as any. It was immense how he eventually walked Mugabe down.

  11. well marvin was great, but he was past his prime when he faced leonard, and i think that lamotta was stronger and he had even better chin. really i think that marvin would not brawl with lamotta

What chance would you give feather-fisted past-prime gimp Paulie Malignaggi against Pacquiao or Mayweather right now?

You think Hearns fits this description: "quick boxers with superior defence"??? :huh

    Try again.

But he could always be knocked out by a fighter with speed, power and skills. No matter how good Tommy's boxing was, you cannot pretend he didn't have a weak chin and you could not confidently back him to last against any top fighter with all three attributes I listed above.
