Would you back Larry Holmes to beat all four of Lennox, Bowe, and the Klits?

A yes or no answer is necessary, but an explanation for each fight would also be nice. :good

Yes, he's proven the chin to deal with that kind of power, had fantastic speed and footwork. Was offensively diverse with underrated power and capable of boxing even on the outside with all of them. That's not to say he wouldn't struggle or they wouldn't conceivably be very difficult fights, but I favor him over all four. They'd probably all be very difficult fights though. Maybe all go the distance with everybody having to dig deep.

I'd pick him to beat WALDO every time, sooner or later the glass chin would get caught. I'd give Lewis the best chance of beating Holmes out of the 4 but even then I'd have it 55-45 or thereabouts in favour of prime Larry.

Yes ... Lennox was too slow and mechanical .. Wlad lacked the chin, stamina and he cuts easily ... Bowe would be outboxed .. Tubbs gave him fits, imagine Holmes .. Vitali would be the toughest fight but Larry would win a tough one on points ...

VITLAY - Larry makes him look like a big, Lanky , Slow, dopey spaztic trying his best to box with a Master of teh Sweet-sceince - Holmes shut-out Decision , wins no-less then 11 roundz.+ Holmes could get cuts-stoppage as Klits have glass-skin.

WALDO - Canny close - BUT Larry is way faster And his jab is teh Business And Larry makes teh fight at a fast pace where WALDO gasses - Holmes 8-4 Decision Or he cracks that egg-shell cheen late. + Holmes could get cuts-stoppage as Klits have glass-skin.

Lewis - Lennox out-boxes Holmes from teh outside with longer jab And could use right-hand to end him - Lennox 8-4 decision or KO. :bbb

Bowe - Prime Holmes had LOTS of troubles with Witherspoon who IMO = worse//less-good version of Riddy Bowe - Bowe 7-5 DEcision. :hat

I voted for him to take all of them, but only because the options were not very wide or detailed.... There are some matches here that I am a bit iffy on...

Riddick Bowe - Holmes beating Riddick Bowe is a no-brainer for me... An aged Tubbs fought him to a near standstill, and while Bowe was still green, Tubbs was past it, and hardly the boxer that a prime Holmes was....

Wladimir Klitschko - , probably has about as close to a jab like Larry's as anyone, but his lack of toughness, and tendency to play it safe will ultimately be his undoing... I pick Holmes by close decision or late stoppage on cuts...

Vitali Klitschko - No where near the fighter that Holmes was, but I don't like this fight for Larry.... I'll pick Holmes based on heart and Vitali's tendency to have bad things happen to him, in his biggest fights, but I say that with no real conviction....

Lennox Lewis - I like Holmes in this match, but it would take the very best version of Larry to beat him, and this would most likely be his toughest bout.. Lewis had all the right skills, physical attributes, and stylistic tools to trouble the hell out of Holmes.... In fact, a lot of experts would pick Lennox over Larry, but I'll go with Holmes' boxing ability, and recuperative powers to barely eek out a decision...

This is an easy question for me - No.

I would wager that Holmes could beat Bowe because of his awful defense and his lack of mental strength.

I see the rest outboxing him and possibly ending it early.

Lewis, Wlad, and Vitali have never lost a decision, Holmes has.

While I rank him higher than any of then alltime except Lewis, he would have trouble with any of them.

Lewis would be the most challenging, and would be favoured, IMO.

If the fights would happen just as one fight at a time I would back Holmes to win all four. He would beat Vitali and Bowe pretty clearly, Wlad would be close and Lewis even closer.

If he would fight all of them in a row he will pick up a loss somewhere.

He maybe slight favorite over all, although I'd pick Lennox over him and the Klits would be stylistically difficult.

However no he is not pulling off wins over all 4, if he fought them over a period of his 2 year prime

Well, I doubt the TS meant that. I mean, what are the odds of anyone running straight through all four of those behemoths without an L?

Well fair enough but the point still stands that statistically 1 or 2 are going to have the style to beat him.

Lets also make it clear Holmes has never beat anyone as good as Lennox, Vitali, Wlad or Bowe

    Out boxes the Klits.
Bowe would be hard but the lack of defence makes me pick Larry.
Lewis has that right hand that Larry hates so much. My money would be on Lewis.
