Would you back Larry Holmes to beat all four of Lennox, Bowe, and the Klits?

No he would lose to a prime Bowe or Lewis. He had a very good jab but I think he was flattered by the guys around at the time he was champ. He might do better against the brothers as they can be robotic and predictable. Both would be points wins,if he could keep the jab going and pile up points either brother would probably just keep plodding forward without changing tactics allowing Holmes to build a decent lead up early on.

I would say Holmes would beat all of them to the 15 rnd distance. I think Lewis would trouble him mid rounds and hurt Holmes with his big rights but later rounds fatigue makes him an easy target to Holmes jab and quick combos to get the decision.

Over the 12 rounds it would be very close against all of them, Imo

He'd clearly beat Bowe and the Klitchsko's. The Lennox fight is borderline 50/50, but I think Larry just takes a marginal decision.

    Bowe isn't in Larry's class.

holmes would beat bowe i think he had that quick jab and elusive footwork that bowe would find trouble with. bowe was never that good at walking people down, he even found it hard enough to seek out herbie hide and herbie had no where near the ring intelligence of holmes. i would say holmes is as close as a sure victor as you can say for any ATG matchup between bowe, wlad (i just think wlad is too tentative to take holems into bad situations for larry, despite the fact wlad probably hass the power speed and technical ablility to do so) and vitali since vitali has always been slow and robotic, which i beleive holmes would lap up. However, holmes was always open for the overhand right, and lennox had one of the best jab - overhand right combos of all time. I think lennox was too sharp and quick for him not to catch holmes with that eventually, and unlike many others who knocked holes down, lennox was a relentless and vicious finisher and i could envisage a referee stoppage sometime near the 10th round.

Many others who knocked Holmes down? Only 4 people have knocked Larry down as a pro. But other than that I agree with most of your post.

holmes just had more depths to draw on when the chips were down. Larry was one driven, bitter, stuborn dude who could fight like a wildcat if he had to. at his best for all his tricks and skill, even the mistakes and odd lapse of concentration he had a defiant refusal to be dominated- much more so than the klits, lewis and bowe. he also had a beter chin than any of them - even vitali.

To me Holmes would beat Vitali solely on his greater jab and hand speed. Vitali's pawing jab won't do it. Plus the reach helps.
Holmes would also beat Wlad, based on Wlad's questionable chin and lack of inside game... Although Wlad would be able to trade jabs with Holmes for sure.
Lewis would be very close imo... Lewis has that killer right hand and his own jab to give Holmes a lot of trouble..
    Bowe gets outclassed.
