would you be dissapointed in floyd if he decides to run against featherweights?

he doesn't need to. his country is the country where all the big fights happen. the only fight that made sense outside of the US was a Hatton rematch in England but we all know that fight is not gonna happen now that Hatton is done for.

if floyd does not try and win this fight by ko then i dont see him ever silencing his critics. he is stronger, faster, younger and heavier than his opponent who is not a ko artist so the only thing that would stop him from attacking would be fear. he may very well be afraid of losing his 0 and have to face the reality that all his claims to greatness were put in perspective by a loss to a man a dozen lb lighter. i think he will be under a lot of pressure to look good in this fight and getting knocked out by the little old man would ruin his plans of calling the shots in future fights. i would not be surprised if floyd chooses to fight from the other side of the ring that jmm is on.

Depends what you mean by 'running'. Sometimes its simply good movement (which some people say its running)....although sometimes he actually does 'run'.

Why should I be dissappointed when that is Floyd's style of fighting? IMHO, he would employ the same style even against Darchinyan or Viloria in his next fights!

JMM did not outgrow featherweight....I have a hard time believing he grew out of the weight in his mid 30's. He has moved up by bulking up.

Floyd could have an off night (Castillo 1) and he's been gone for nearly two years come July.

And JMM could have the night of his career.

    JMM could beat Floyd.

But that would be counter to form and a fairly major upset. More major than either of Pacs recent wins.

If the Floyd of the Hatto fight turns up and wants to impress (he needs to, if he hopes to get 50% of the Floyd - Pac purse), then he will win by KO mid to late rounds.

If he stays cautious, he will win and it won't be a wide victory.

My personal hope is the first of these scenarios, thus setting up stage 3 of a great trilogy.
