I've not seen or heard anything on this since this thread: where has all this talk suddenly come from? I don''t see a link in sight and it's a completely illogical fight and probably the last on PBF's agenda as well. Anyone got the stones on this one, please?:D:good

If Mayweather fights Ann Widecombe I'd go and watch it, so if he is counting on mindless prats who just want to say theyve seen him live he can count one me to fill one seat

I'd still want Widdecombe to lay him out though

Manny fighting Yuri is akin to him fighting David Diaz and its ODH'ish in its cynicism, What the hell is Foreman gonna be able to bring ot the fight?

Still, its not as bad as Hatton getting the call

    This has to be a f*cking wind-up.
Its just insane and a disgrace to the sport of boxing. His team must come out and squash these rumours asap.

Bladerunner will have a field day on the General if this fight is signed, as would all of the Mayweather haters, and rightly so.

Cheers, Uzi, mate:good. I will lose a lot of respect for PBF if he took this fight. As Rob said, why not take on a solid opponent like Clottey at 147. Or maybe even a fight at 154? Maybe with Mini Chavez?:think That would be an easy tune-up and would also make a shitload of money.

I have no respect for Matt Hatton as it is anyway so if this fight is made I will dislike him even more. Un****ingbelievable- we have the cheek to moan at Arum for promoting Mini Chavez the way he does, but we near enough have exactly the same thing in this country in our very own Magic Matt:lol:!

****ing stupid fight and an absolute ****-take to all the hardworking British fighters out there who don't have a bigger brother to protect them and blow smoke up their ass.

All of that rant said, I will be very, very suprised if this ends up happening. Why not fight N'Dou in Africa if he wants a tune-up? That could make a decent amount of dosh:think

To be fair to Mayweather that article contains no fight date, no venue, no quotes from Mayweather or any of his team about the fight (no, Floyd bullshitting Sky Sports last time his was over here doesn't count!!). Its factual content is pretty much zero.

Thing is,if money's his motivation,is he really going to make the sort of cash he's acustomed to by fighting this joke???

No one would buy into this crap.

That being said it would maybe be worth 15 pounds to see Matthew cry.

I am not suprised. This has came out of the blue and is very hard to believe. PBF isn't as stupid as people think and if he were to opt for a tune-up, it would also have to make financial sense for him.

I would also not be suprised to see him take on the winner of Mosley-Berto (i.e. Mosley) whilst Pac has another fight (maybe with Foreman). The hype for the fight would only get bigger.

The problem with all these tune-ups is that at one point the tune-up is not going to read the script.

Mayweather banks on his 0. Without it, what does he have. Pacman has been beaten 3 times and nobody cares, he still has that aura about him. Mayweather when that 0 goes it will be second*only to the aura Tyson lost when he lost his 0(In my opinion of course).

So keep taking thes etune ups and when one lands one and scuppers your plans dont say you werent warned
