We all heard khan say he wants to clea up the division and says hed love to fight maidana next. However weve also heard reports that team khan are looking to fight the winnr of the diaz marquez fight.

If marquez does win would u be happy khan fighting marquez or do u think marquez is a "shot/smaller/slower" opponent for khan

It is not such a bad opponent. But, I believe JMM has been on the downfall for some time now.

Not the best opponent but when the Mayweather fight was on, people said JMM would beat Khan at any weight. After that? JMM is shot for Khan.

JMM is still a very very stern test for Khan. Good preparation for Bradley, Alexander.

thats my take on it, marquez was p4p no.3 last time he fought, still a big test. Khans only 23 only had 3 fights at 140 after the prescott fiasco, hes got all the time in the world

Marquez is not the same after being outclassed by Mayweather.Add the age factor and you get a dead man as a product,so basically Khan's fighting old people.Khan should stop going around cemeteries looking for corpses to fight.

Bradley,Alexander,Zab Judah & Maidana are all opponents at 140 who are big names. Why not get them?

    No.

Fight the people you were claiming you were after when you were interviewed after beating Malignaggi instead of lightweights.

Marquez changed after the Mayweather fight? How the hell do you know? He hasn't even fought yet.

Marquez is still a very good test.

Bradley, Alexander, Zab Judah and Maidana? Big names??? They are virtually unknown to casual boxing fans. Have you seen how many tickets they shift?

Somebody like Maidana, Katsidis or Bradley is a far tougher test than Marquez IMO as they have power and will put Khan under pressure and test his chin, which is the only way to beat Khan IMO.

Marquez is obviously a class act, but he's old, he lacks one punch power especially at this weight and he's fighting a good few weights above his natural weight.

I'd expect Khan to use his superior stamina and handspeed to outwork Marquez, but I wouldn't be picking Khan so confidently if he were up against a pressure fighter who can BANG!

We won't learn much about Khan if he fights Marquez IMO, but if he fought a BIG punching pressure fighter we'd be able to see how Khans new found skills would stand up to a Prescott-type test.

A few of Khans more testing opponents are currently tied up with injuries or fights, so we may be being harsh in some of this criticism

Is Con a 140lb champion or not? Why doesn't he vacate the belt? It's obvious he's not interested in fighting the elite at 140lbs. To be accepted as a Con opponent you must be either shot, bloated or feather-fisted, or a combination of the three - fact.

I suppose it isn't too bad. It's always going to be a lightweight and Marquez is probably the best lightweight so it's the best we can hope for.

Its going to be a mismatch ..Nothing more than a name for Khan ..This will look like the Mayweather fight where Khan will be to big for JMM ..Is this a pattern now with UK fighters get the stars in the ring while on the decline ?

    Calzaghe /Jones

    Lewis /Tyson

    Hatton /Castillo ??

    Khan /MAB ?

:nut:nut. Why doesn't Bradley fight Alexander? Why is Alexander fighting Kotelnik when people like Holt and Judah and available?

You just like to hit on Khan and that's it. Ah I can't wait till your proved wrong
