Bradley has fought a lot better names then Con and is fighting an undefeated fighter in the weight class ABOVE him.

Alexander had no other options, Judah backed out you idiot and is no longer an elite fighter anyway, he's not won a meaningful fight in like 5 years.

Kendall Holt is not an elite fighter, he's coming off two losses, Kotelnik sucks but he is better than Holt and probably the best available.

Now tell me this, why is A Mere Con only linked with lightweights who happen to be over 35 years of age?

So what? Bradley suddenly get's the pass to fight whoever? Oh wow, 7 pounds above him. Some unknown bum who you probably know nothing about.

Alexander has no options? Please.

Kotelnik better than Holt??:lol:. Ah Just when you were calling Kotelnik a paper champ he's suddenly better than Holt.

JMM is the best lightweight. If you could capitalise on yourself by building yourself up for more money, I'm sure you would (Just like Bradley and Alexander are doing). JMM is better than Kotelnik by the way.

Over 35 years eh? I know, let's get him in with John Murray :thumbsup

Last time i checked murray wasnt over 35 and neither was katsidis :think

oh and btw "A mere con", wow where did u get that from? its so original, i wish i was u :tired

on a serious note, marquez isnt a bad option, he was good enough for floyd so y not khan? ofcourse id rather see khan fight bradley or alexander and even maidana next but none of them can sell a fight for ****, so business wise its a much better option to fight marquez next and let the others continue to make a name for themselves

    ?

The guy just moved up from Lightweight. Partime J Welter?

Where are you getting this from?

And what's him taking Manny the distance anything to do with this?

Fyi, JMM is the one who said to GBP he wants to be a 4 weight champ, that's why this fight is likely to go ahead. It's Marquez's decision.

This is a case of GBP keeping things in-house. Simliar to what Arum does. It's one of the easiest fights that can make for Khan and it's a well known name he'll be fighting against. A win for him will only boost his exposure to the American publilc. There are plenty of other names out there for him and Marquez has never fought at that weight. Didn't think Mayweather should have fought him - but whatever.

Depends how much he has left in the tank, he did well against Diaz but he was tailing on the cards the moment he KOed him. Against Mayweather it was hard to see how much he has left, because that fight was a mismatch...

Let us see how he fare against Diaz this time, taken that Diaw has not declined...

Agreed with the Mayweather point ..Thats why I feel the Khan fight is the same thing .Boxing is turning softer and softer ..Now a days its all about softer fights with names for big money ..Not about fighting the best at your weight in their prime ..This is why we are still waiting for the so called super fight between Manny and Floyd !

Yeah, super fights used to be normal and used to happen all the time, at that time they would call it a normal fight. Fights today would be called glorified sparring sessions or tune ups in those good old days :D

I agree - younger, bigger and faster fighter is a spell for disaster like ODH - Chavez. JMM doesn't need to be humiliated for a payday. Personaly I hope he retires after the Diaz fight

Er so Mayweather fought JMM because he was a lightweight? :rofl

Well no ****, which casual fans would be interested in Khan-Maidana in the US? Nobody. In the UK it makes sense.

the hate for khan here is too strong, he is young and is fighting name fighters. not the best fighters in his divison but he is very young. he will learn a lot from fighting marquez.
