Would you be in favor of bringing back the 'Old School 8' weight classes?

I'd be fine with it. The sport would look much, much deeper if that were the case.

I agree. More depth in each division plus less fighters moving up and down weight divisions to chase bogus alphabet straps.

It's being argued whether there should be superheavy or not, now if you remove cruiserweight too, HW division would be a lot less competitive. Back in the 8 weight classes days, there wasn't much 6'6-250 pound giants. But I'd agree that there are too many low weight classes.

You would have to keep the cruiserweights though 176lbs ain't no damn heavyweight

Id like it but agree you need to keep cruiser at 200lb the jump form 175 to heavies weighting 230+ is too much

If there were less weight classes there'd be more catchweights. Reverting to the old weight classifications wouldn't be an improvement on what we've got now

While we are dreaming why not make a rule all title fights and eliminators for title fights
Must be at the correct weight.

I am in favor of it. One change, get rid of flyweight and add in a cruiser class. 175 is too small to compete with 240lb giant. Loss of guys under 112 is no big deal.

    Yes, and no catchweights.
I'm also in favor of bringing back same day weigh in's.
