I can't see this fight going well for Nog at all. Nog gets taken down and beat up.

Possibly. Or Nog gets taken down and submits Lesnar, seeing as Nog is probably the best heavyweight submission artist ever and Lesnar has been submitted before.

Lesnar got submitted in his second fight. Mir didn't look close to submitting him in the rematch. I would be shocked if Nog could sub Brock, Brocks too experienced to walk into a heel hook.

Make it a five rounder under the new headliner rules and Nogueira submits Lesnar.

So Nog had the nous to submit Crocop, Sylvia, Herring, Hendo and Coleman, but he doesn't have sufficient game to submit Lesnar? Please.

If Lesnar stands with Nog, Nog would win IMO. Nog has better boxing skills, better power and a better chin, even at this point in his deterioration.

If Lesnar takes it to the ground, it gets interesting. He has the artillery to GnP Nog to defeat, but by the same token Nog has the ground game to submit a guy who only has 7 MMA fights under his belt and has been submitted before.

I would LOVE to see Nog sub Lesnar, and I think that he 100% could given the opportunity. I doubt Lesnar takes it there though and if he does I doubt he'd hang out in guard long enough for Nog to work anything. Much more likely that Lesnar takes him down and crushes him like he did Mir.

On the feet, come on people, Nog's reflexes are gone. I thought Schaub was going to tag him too often, and until the KO it looked like I was right. Lesnar hates to get hit, but I don't think that Nog would be able to finish him the way Velazquez did. It's way more likely that Lesnar catches Nog with something like the punch that dropped Couture or Hearing and caveman's him until it's over.

rather classic bjj vs power wrestling

big nog, master class level, though past his prime years

brock, a beast when on, but coming off of a career low and life-threatening health problems

win-win for both guys in my view

nog wins he gets another nice high-level name on his resume...could retire high if he wanted

brock wins it puts a nice name on his resume, gets him some confidence

Not only is that disrespectful, it's not accurate. Nogueira is still relevant. Nogueira is 4-2 in the UFC, with 4 of his fights being against either a past or future champion. I haven't done a top 10 in a while, and he may not be in it, but I'd say he's still in my top 12.
