Yeah I hear ya. My attitude is I've already put too much time and effort into it to NOT see it to fruition. Just gotta keep chugging along and making with what little brain cells I have left.

....but yeah on topic, No way they fight at a catchweight.

catchweight of 150? Why would they fight at anything other than 147 where Mosley holds a tittle? However to answer the question. No it would not bother me.

Mayweather is a WW. Mosely is a WW. It would be insane to do a catchweight.

Pac's best weight is at Jr WW, whether people like it or not Pac is smaller than Mayweather.

I personally think it's not right that a boxer fighting at 147 should come into the fight at 160.

Mayweather weighs 147 at weigh in and fight night. I think this is much more healthy and makes more sense. In essence you're getting people fighting in the wrong weight divisions by 'de-hyrating themselves'. Weight divisions exist for a reason and if your natural weight is 160 at fight night surely you should be fighting another division. It gives an unfair advantage against fighters like Mayweather who weight 147 on fight night.

If Floyd is not a WW he can go play with the JWW guys or with the lightweights. There aren't any big bad boys there like Cotto or Mosley that are going to kick his ass any day of the week. If he is the greatest of all time as he proclaims himself of course he must fight at WW and prove himself against the best there.

Weight division is for the weight in man not for the fight night. Before for all the Olympic sports they had the system with the weight in just before the fight or the event generally (weight lifting for example) and the effect was that people were coming dehydrated for the fights and it was a lot worst for their health. The system now is good. All the WW are about 157 fight night so it's fair. The problem is that Floyd is really a JWW but he wants to play around the big boys. He doesn't even fight this big guys. He is just around them creating hype that he is going eventually to fight them

    whatever eze :D

i think the problem with floyd is he doesn't rehydrates himself that much, he's a welterweight by weigh in, but a juniorwelter by fight night.

    What?

Pac fought at 147, then went to 140. He went down in weight.

Floyd doesn't rehydrate much weight because he only actually weighs around 147 at WW.

pac just went to his natural weight which is 140. then fought hatton there. he didn't go down to 140 to fight hatton, right?

so floyd will fight jmm at a catchweight of 143 (key word: catchweight, neither natural weight of both fighters). then after the fight, floyd, which is a welter, will return to 147. if he decides to fight mosley at 145, they're both going down, which is not anymore considered as catchweight (coz they'll both go down). i hope that's clear :good

I understand what you are saying but

Floyds natural fight class is 140 like Pacquaio he just chooses to fight at 147.

And if he fights at 143 and then turns around to fight at 147. He would be moving up.

that's what i'm saying, he is a welter at weigh in but at junior welter at fight night. but like you said, he chooses to fight at welter.
