true, though it's in all walks of life, you find bullshittersz and charlatans in ALL walks of life. I'm talking about people who don't know what the **** they are on about...but they pass themselves off as judges. Problem is there aren't enough people to recognise him for the charlatan he is.
Don 't let it worry you, use it too your advantage and have a bet with these idiots, i made 50 quid off my mate cos hatton was going to knock mayweather into next week aparantlly, never watched more than 3 fights in his life beforehand, ****ing idiot:yep
I hate when I get in a conversation with someone about boxing when they know **** all ~I just have to agree with them and then make a mental note never to talk to them again.
You always get the newspaper pundits as well who tell you that Hopkins is unbeaten and the best fighter in the world (p4p) unaware of his losses. Next day they tell you PBF is best p4p fighter having read it in another newspaper. I was told by one newspaper pundit that Ali was never beaten although Cassius Clay had the tools to beat Ali. :nut Another told me that Peter Manfredo was one of the best SMW of all time. atsch One of the best was that all fighters have a similar chin. No such thing as a granite chin apparently. The Hatton PBF fight was superb for these armchair pundits, lots of the poor buggers walking home at 5:35am . Next day they read the newspapers and it was all the refs fault and hatton would school PBF in a rematch.
Am I the only one that has found non boxing fans are genuinely surprised when you tell them a guy like Tyson would beat a guy like Mayweather?? They actually think Mayweather would be too fast and somehow pot shot his way to victory.
Yeah it is pretty annoying. I remember we were watching Khan vs Earl a few months back and I remarked to a friend that Khan aint actually that good, due to chinny issues etc. And he laughs knowingly and says 'yes he is', and this guy knows jack **** about boxing
Quality... I was in one of the local hotels repeatedly practicing hitting the bag then switching my feet to change angles for a left hook and some middle aged guy popped his head in to tell me I shouldn't bring my feet of the ground every time i throw a combination or my opponent might catch on .... 'Really?' I'd only been boxing for about 8 years at the time! I then went into the gym did some weights and watched him complete a weight circuit that an 80 year old grandma would have felt embarassed taking part in. What a bell end. lol
