Would you be surprised if Vanes beat Lara?

    Not surprised at all. Giving Lara the edge here but this fight could go either way.

    Lara has easily become one of the most overrated boxers at ESB.

    I was wrong about the defeat. Lara got a draw with Molina, but he did not look elite in that fight.

    I've seen a few Vanes fights from youtube and it seems like kind of fighters that troubles him most are pressure fighters, like the Ouma fight. He's generally very good when you allow him fight at his pace. A guy like Cotto would beat Vanes, but I don't think Canelo, who fights at a slow pace could.

    Vanes and Lara seem to fight at a similar pace, maybe Vanes at a slightly faster pace. Either way, I'm expecting a good tactical fight.

    I am 110% with you bro. Everything you've posted has been right on the money. I see Vanes knocking out Lara as well, its very possible. And a decision win for Vanes imo wouldn't surprise me one bit!

    Vanes' speed and power is significantly better than anyone Lara has ever faced, think about it. How would you compare the speed, boxing skills, power, footwork of Vanes against Paul Williams, Hernandez and Molina? Lara will not see Vanes' punches even coming.

    Lara's chin has never been tested either, but it sure will on November 10th. Vanes has the perfect game plan and he is hungrier than ever. His conditioning is twice as good as it ever has been, he is going to have knockout power in the 12th round, if it even goes that far.

    Lastly, Lara's power is really overrated. Think about it, was Lara able to even buckle or hurt Williams, Molina or Hernandez, let alone knock them down? Those guys kept coming right at him all night, knowing Lara's power couldn't hurt them. Bottom line, those that believe in Vanes will be making some good money thanks to the odds.
