“The type of calls I’m getting, it’s unbelievable. I could spend the rest of the day on the phone and sell out the entire place,” Arum said via ESPN 1100. “Because of the price of the tickets, MGM, for example, will only give ringside tickets to its customers who have a $250,000 line of credit. Nobody is going to get these tickets without paying for them.”

He said line of credit. That is not the price of the ticket. So, yes, I believe him.

For once, Arum is telling the truth. I know an A-list celebrity; we are good friends and he couldn't get ringside tickets.

The ringside tickets will probably be put on hold for the bigger named celebs first.

Ringside tickets for major boxing events go to the Top-of-the-List celebrities; such as Denzel Washington, Jay Z, Beyonce, Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, etc.

The other A-list celebrities (such as my friend) will only get tickets if he is a guest of the bigger named celebs...!!!

I doubt MGM will comp for this fight. If it was another fight, not of this magnitude, I would say yes to comps.

Arum could tell me the sky is blue and I'd doubt the reptilian S.O.B.

Arum was actually right in suggesting to make a temporary stadium outside a las vegas vacant lot. Alot of people want to watch this fight and would be willing to pay huge amount of money.

Of course he can, but he may be a big named celebrity, but he is not on the level of Denzel Washington, or Sylvester Stallone. All boxing fans know Denzel and Sylvester for their boxing connections.

Channing is only known for making stripper movies, GI JOE, White House Down and being a heart throb for females. Hardly the type that attracts boxing fans

Celebrities like Jack Nicholson, 50 Cent, Will Smith and Leo DiCaprio are used to getting comped tickets when they attend a big fight, but Bob Arum who runs Top Rank, which is co-promoting Mayweather-Pacquiao, says not this time. “Nobody is going to get these tickets without paying for them,” Arum told ESPN 1100 in Las Vegas Monday. When he gets a celebrity call, Arum says he is routing them to the MGM which has the biggest block of tickets.

    x 2.

I can't think of a much lower form of life outside the ring than Mayweather tbh. But I'd take his word rather than Arum's anytime, because at least you know he is only a Walter Mitty, whereas Arum is a pathological liar, who tells them with malice aforethought.

That is probably why I despise Pacturds because they paraphrase the dirty ***inesque vermin.
