Actually Adamek has never been a unified champ in any division.

Evidence of why he is not a plodder is that he landed a few punches against a 40 year old ageing champion who lost the use of the jab after 2 rounds and hasn't had the ability to move his feet since his return? **** yeah... being able to close that gap proves he's not a plodder :patsch**** sake... when are people going to realise that Vitali can't move his feet and lost the use of his lead hand early in the fight... this does not mean Chisora is all of a sudden some Frazier like pressure fighter. Chisora is a plodder... 100% certified and the second he fights someone with a bit of mobility he will get turned inside out and made to look foolish like against Fury

    Absolutely true.
Both Haye and Chisora have only ever fought a top-flight heavyweight once, and Chisora clearly looked better in there than Haye did.
Chisora came to fight and didn't back up.
    Haye ran to survive.
And he produced the most embarrassing post-fight excuse for a pitiful challenge ever.
He should be considered an embarrassment to the tradition of British title challengers.

Yet most people here seem to admire Haye as a fighter more than Chisora.
They seem to worship Haye actually.
    I don't get it.

Fury fight wasn't remotely competative. Fury beat him up and made him look like a novice let alone amateur.
Helenius as with Vitali, doesn't move his feet. Being able to catch up with a guy that doesn't move is not proof of a fighter not being a plodder.

Chisora fought the clearly declining lesser of the brothers, who injured his lead arm early in the fight and continued to win a shut out with 1 arm. Haye fought the best in the division in his prime while he was the one carrying the injury and you want to compare those fights and draw from that the conclusion of who the better fighter is??? :huh Jesus H Christ

Some of us mate... can watch a fighter and appreciate their level of skill as a boxer. We don't get our knickers in a bunch and start hating a fighter, a person we don't know and go on some weird internet crusade to attack that mans character because he chose to box in a fight and lost as opposed to forgetting boxing and standing and trading with a much bigger and stronger man and getting beat up.

    Agreed.

Everyone thinks the difference in the fury fight as opposed to Vitali and Helenius was Chisoras weight.

I beg to differ, i think it's because Fury has surprising footspeed where the other two are basically stationary

I and probably most people think the deciding factor in the fight with Fury was this.

I was not drawing any conclusions as to who the better fighter is. I'm just agreeing that Chisora performed better in his fight against one of the top 2 fighters in the world.
I agree that Wladimir is better than Vitali, but still Vitali is one of the top 2, a step up than the fighters Haye had beat.

Haye's 'injured toe' excuse was a joke.

I'm not on "a weird internet crusade"
I'm just stating my opinion. Haye's effort against Wladimir Klitschko was pathetic.
You can say that he "chose to box", but he didn't do much boxing at all. He hardly tried to win, he just tried to survive. He was completely out of his depth, and was mostly scared to even throw punches.
The art of boxing is "hit without getting hit". Haye barely hit Wlad, and rarely even attempted to. He managed the "..without getting hit" part quite well though.

None of my critcisms here are anywhere near as harsh as the criticism David Haye made of ALL WLAD'S PREVIOUS OPPONENTS for the way the fought when they had their chance. Haye condemned them as "bums" for failing to pressure Wlad. He also condemned Wlad for being safety-first and boring. But his own performance was up there with the most negative saftety-first 'challenges' to Wlad we have yet seen.

I agree Hayes performance against Wlad was pathetic. But a nice chunk of that is also to do with Wlads tactics in the fight. Wlad stayed out of Hayes range and bear hugged him whenever he was in range. The only chance Haye really had was to throw caution to the wind and going balls out to try to get to him... which would have been really, really ****ing stupid when fighting the hardest puncher on the planet. Could lead to temporary unconciousness.

Simple fact of the matter is. Haye is CLEARLY on ability alone the 3rd best HW in the world. Just because he didn't stand toe to toe with a Klitschko brother doesn't make him a **** fighter and it doesn't mean Chisora is better because Chisora stood toe to toe with the worse brother and got soundly beaten up with 1 arm.
