Would you class Khan as a waste of talent?

I wouldn't call him that talented. He's definately talented in some respects, like speed, but he's lacking significantly in other areas like ring IQ and adaptability. These are talents as well. Which is why someone like Mayweather so talented and revered; because he has speed, reflexes and boxing smarts. The whole shebang.

You can't say just say "if" he used his talents better because it's all intertwined. You need talent in others areas to fully utilise your primary or signature talent and Khan will never have the needed qualities in other areas to maximise his.
