Would you consider Floyd vs Golovkin a 50-50 fight ?

Middleweight and light heavies do not want to fight him..
GGG is a different breed.
Too big for Floyd.

Too big for floyd at a catchweight or even 154lb but floyd not too big for marquez smh.Funny thing is Golovkin like Serg are small middleweights but like taking on risks & challenges.I'm not demanding fight just ironic how these floyd fans think.

 

I think Golovkin beats the **** out of Floyd at 160 or 154, assuming he can make it safely. Too much power, too many tools in the toolbox. The only question about this fight is how many years it takes off Floyd's life.

Golovkin would be able to hurt Floyd through his guard. That changes the fight dynamic drastically for Floyd. He'd have to move, move, move and keep moving to survive. If he tried to fight Golovkin off the ropes, he'd get hammered and stopped.

If Floyd tries to stay away, he'd have to deal with Golovkin's jab. Golovkin has an excellent jab, a jab like a power punch. Mayweather is having nightmares about that jab. Golovkin has a much longer reach than Cotto. In fact, he would have the longest reach of any of Mayweather's opponents.

Floyd would be trying to dodge the jab and stay away, and he would have a hard time putting his own offense together to win rounds.

Floyd is low volume as it is and to up his volume against Golovkin, he would have to take more risks and become less defensive. At the same time, I don't think Floyd could hurt Golovkin, so how is he going to keep him off for 12 rounds? Floyd might make it into the later rounds by running but I don't see how he can win this fight.

Best post so far. I can tell who has not boxed in their life by looking thru the posts in this thread. Blocking golovkin's punches would move floyd out of position to counter or break his body down quick. He can't be too close because he would get mauled and when he is outside he would have to deal with golovkin's jab and length. Like you said floyd can make it into the later rounds by literally running but winning the boxing match? impossible.

 

Alvarez would knock Void out cold.................Why do you think Void wants Alvarez to come all the way down to 147? Yes, Void knows he can't possibly make that weight, so it gives Void an excuse to chickening out once again.........
