To me this is the big question, along with the inactivity..
I had same concern going into Wilder rematch, Wilder just failed to exploit it.

You can say the same about AJ, but I already know how he will react, and that he is capable of going safety first if he needs to

The only ”questionable” thing about Fury’s chin is ”WTF is it made of?”

Not after getting up from what Wilder hit him with in round 12 in their first fight.

Too many posters here act like a fighters chin/ jaw/ whatever is "granite" or "glass". There are gradations and different factors involved in punches delivered and taken. The exact location is one such factor.

Tyson Fury's chin is solid and proven! Recovered from quite a few knockdowns in his career and remained undefeated! But I do believe that sooner or later there will come a count he is not gonna beat. Most likely against AJ. Cheers.

I think Fury's chin is 'OK'. You'd need a good flush punch by a banger to put him down. That said, keeping him down is another matter. He clearly also has above average recuperative abilities.

man's been in the ring with wilder.
i'd be more worried about AJ when (if) he gets wilder.

You know how they say that styles make fights. Fury's style beats Wilder, Wilder's style beats AJ, and AJ's style beats Fury :)

He is only human and will go down if hit with a power punch as seen in the past.

His recovery from going down with a punch is sensational.

Not really a question mark so much as somewhere in the realm of 'middling' - neither iron nor glass. As in, he can face a big puncher over twelve and stay on his feet without necessarily having to go safety first and never once hit cleanly - but it also wouldn't be shocking headline news if some day he was knocked out by a medium-hard puncher, either.

Same as my view has been since his initial rise, during his self-uppercutting days. And exactly the same assessment goes for Joshua too, FWIW.

    Question marks?

He can be dropped yes. But he clearly has the chin of a rhino.

I have cant recall anyone being dropped by a power puncher like Wilder twice and winning the fight. Or someone getting up in the 12th from a punch like that and then winning the round.

Well it’s been proven Tyson Fury can be hurt and put down and he has gotten up of the deck. However you are right to the extent it will be interesting to see how he reacts and if he can survive against a composed cold blooded type when hurt. Beyoncé Wilder might be many things but clearly lacks composure.
