He wasn't even the best of his own era.

Hearns, and McCallum would have destroyed Norris. Just to name two.

I wouldn't say the best, but I wouldn't hesitate to say the most accomplished.

He got destroyed at 154 by Julian Jackson. So, the short answer is NO!

I would vote for Mike McCallum as best 154 ever.

I don't think Norris was the best ever, but he should be highly rated.

I would take Hearns and McCallum over him at 154 in a heartbeat.

    No.

He stayed very long at the weight class so his achievements were among the best at that weight, and he was a very good fighter, but Hearns, Jackson, and McCallum were all better.

Trinidad would beat Norris at 154, as would the Leonard of the early 80s.

Those guys wouldn't fight him not the other way around. He destroyed/outclassed Watson who outboxed eubank twice and gave prime james toney all he could handle in his late 30s. Also KOed Julian Jackson who made mince meat of terry norris

I agree but I don't know if Trinidad beats Norris. That would be an awesome matchup
