    Heavyweights are a law unto themselves in the HoF. The records of Norton (and Ingo, Braddock, Baer and Sharkey for that matter) shouldn't be used as a shoehorn to squeeze every half-decent fighter in there.

    I did exclude heavyweights, as winning the lineal heavyweight title prior to 1980 seemed to give you a free pass. If every non-heavyweight fighter of Ingo's ability/resume was in the Hall, they'd need to find a much bigger building than the one in Canastota.

    For the record though, bombing out the number 1 ranked heavyweight (who many thought was better than the champ) in less than a round has to qualify as a "good" win.

    It does....but where does it end???

    We would need to include guys like Buster Douglas, Rahman, McCall...etc..etc

    If he beat Chambers, then Povetkin for regular WBA belt and somehow
    manage to avoid the other Klit he will make it to HOF as "three division champion".
