Who would you fear more? If you were a champion level boxer in the 140-147 division and finally got a chance to fight Pacquaio or Mayweather? I mean which fighter would just shake the hell out of your nerves before facing them?

Obviously Pacquiao. He's knocking guys out cold and leaving them with a pretty face after fights.

I don't think that too many professional boxers get scared regardless of how outclassed they may be.

Well don't see it as scared, view it more of a bad case of the nerves. Mosley looked pretty damned wrecked right before the fight. So did DLH against Mayweather. They didn't fear getting beaten up but they were anxious as hell.

If I was a professional fighter at that level I wouldn't be afraid of any opponent, but I know Manny would lay me out cold almost immediately, whereas Mayweather would embarrass me prior to laying me out cold...either way, I'm going to sleep and I'm not tired.

Depends on my style and what I think I might be able to take advantage of. It's hard to say I imagine it's different based on the what type of fighter you are. I could never ever be a welterweight though.

    Good answer:good

Mayweather brings embarrassment and Pacquaio brings the pain. I think I'd rather take the pain, that way I'd be smiling my ass off like Diaz or Clottey just proud because I went the 12. No one is smiling after going the 12 with Mayweather.

    may : impenatrable defence.

I think that Floyd, should he beat Pac- which i think is a sensible bet, will soon run out of reasonable opposition. expecting him to go to 154 or 160 is a leap- and i wouldnt hold it against him for not doing so. As Merchant said, I think he may one day be like Roy in that his fights will no longer be about a matchup, but simply about watching a fighter in action display his skills, beating on mediocre opposition until he gets old, or bored, or moves up too high and slips up.

That being said- **** i hope Manny beats the living **** out of him. I know Mannys got his work cut out- but it just sucks living in an era where a guy like Floyd is the best- and calls himself the greatest. We can all marvel at his talent- but it dosent mean we have to enjoy watching him. If only a Ray Leonard of Hearns where born in this era- we d have more perspective.

I d fear Pac more. With floyd you know you might get schooled- and look bad- but you re not going to get severly hurt worst case scenario. with pac- the lil ****ers like a pirhana, relentless pecking bits of flesh off of you. you d come out scarred, ****ed up , and tired.
