Did I say he should'nt fight at welterweight? When did I critisize Williams for doing so?

I said other fighters at the current welterweight division should'nt get critisize for not fighting him, whether it be Cotto,Mosley,Mayweather. None of them should get critisize for not fighting that 'freak of nature' in my opinion.

:patsch Please dont give me that...I can read betwen the lines of your post...In so many words you're trying to say that he's to tall for the WW so you understand why they're not fighting him...Those are your words dude...not mines!

Again...why should they not get critisized when he (Paul Williams) makes the weight? Weight classes are not determined by your height...Its called weight classes for a reason.

You seems to have misunderstood the question.

There's no question on weight division . . . the guy indicated welter.

Me yes! If it's mandatory fight that I have to go through to make a name for myself . . . then yes. Got to take risk to earn a name and respect for yourself.

But . . . . if I'm a title holder and he's not my mandatory . . . it will be stupid to take that unnecessary risk. :deal

Cause of the way boxing is, guys like Williams are always gonna struggle to get the big fights. Boxing as a whole needs to radically change for this woeful situation to get resolved

LOTS of fighters have height advantages. i'm starting to think PW is having a tyson affect: people are terrified before he even gets in the ring. Dwight Muhammad Qawi was shorter than EVERYONE he fought, same goes for tyson, fighting harada and countless others. they did just fine. PW is a great fighter but his workrate is his asset, his height don't mean ****

If a fighter is already thinking such question, he probably won't be a champ. Only question he should be asking himself, "Am I going to get paid".

Already did...Just curious is to why some fans are throwing around his height like its going to make him an ATG...I mean he did get beat by Quintana so the guy can be beaten...Thats a no brainer...but for some to sit back and say that the WW shouldnt fight him (quote on quote) because he's a freak of nature... really doesnt make sense to me...I'm just asking for a simple rebuttal..Thats all...This is a boxing forum my man!:good

(please dont take this post the wrong way because I didnt mean anything by it)
