Would you fight a 6"1 Southpaw Welterweight

Especially one who doesnt have a following one who doesnt have nothing to bring to the table you wont make money fighting this guy so why fight him?

Why hasnt Mayweather fought him? Floyd is clearly ducking Paul

 

Williams wanted Cotto right after Margarito.. but Arum said loudly and clearly that he didn't want to risk "both of his welterweight belts on the same fighter"

He has been trying to get him constantly, and after the quintana fight you can even hear everyone asking for Cotto. There has been a lot of talk by people in the camps (bunch of ****-talk yapping) but Cotto absolutely refuses to say his name in public.


And before anyone says "Cotto don;t call out fighters" That's a bunch of bull****. Cotto will run his ****in mouth about Shane, rematching Margarito, and fighting Pac, but will STFU and GTFO when someone mentions Williams. Ain't no ****in coincedence.

 

Williams is no longer campaigning in the welterweight division so he's not currently getting ducked by anybody in the welterweight division, he would get ducked if he were still there and just because a fighter does'nt want to fight Williams does'nt mean that he does have the warrior mentality, you would'nt say Shane Mosley does'nt have a warrior mentality for not fighting Williams either right?

 

He sure is.

So is Mosely.

So is Cotto.

But Floyd is the only one who gets abused for it. Everyone else has a bunch of nuthuggers who will make all the ***** excuses in the world for their fighter.

 

The absolute only reason Williams is fighting that high is because no one big will fight him at WW. So that's a silly excuse for Cotto. They duck a guy, and then when he fights upward, they say "Oh he's no welterweight anymore"atsch



Shane Mosely included. He's probably the worst of em all.



And what gets me, is that most of the Cotto and Shane fans love to talk a**** about Floyd, but their boy is doing the same exct thing. THAT is hypocrisy.

 

Come on man I have'nt seened anybody personally give Floyd any flack for not fighting Williams. People have always given him flack for not fighting Antonio Margarito.

Floyd gets passes not to fight this guy not to fight that guy while Cotto Margarito Mosley and the rest get **** for not fighting Paul.

 

Cotto is a fantastic fighter who has fought the best in the world with the exception of two fighters, how can you hate the man?:twisted:

Aiken if I were to make you a career set of all of Cotto's fights on dvd would you want me to send it to you?.....I think you will have a change of heart once you see his whole career set.

 

It isn't stupid given Williams height and built, not to mention he's really taller than 6'1. If he can make 147 easily, than why is he competing at JMW/MW? Why not he just stay as a welterweight? It couldn't be because he would starve himself making welterweight, but wouldn't matter anyway as long as he gets the big fights and the money.

 

Then they should fight. Yet Williams is pushing for a fight against Sergei Dzindziruk?

Don't you realize that Williams is Cotto's worst nightmare and even Arum knows this.:deal This is the same Cotto who melted down under Margo's attack, but he's going to beat a guy who brings more and pressure and skills than Margo does?atsch Williams would have Cotto runing all over the ring looking for a place to lay down. Cotto would get busted up trying to get inside and gets stopped in 7 rounds or less.

 

Doesn't matter if it is 'hard' or not. Just matters that he can and will. Maybe he read someone else say it and that was good enough for him?
