Would you go to a cinema to watch PPV fights?

yeah as long as you could go in drunk and abusive and not expect to be thrown out

 

They do this in America and apparently it seems to work cos they ain't binned it yet.

I'm sure for the big fights it'd be fun. Head down with some mates and enjoy the fights on a cinema screen. As long as you don't get a bunch of knobheads turning up.

Yeah, the Showcase is only a short pub crawl away for me.

 

They used to do it here until Sky/ late night TV took off. It used to work for the MASSIVE fights not so much for even the bigish fights.

 

There's not many massive fights going these days are there? .

 

If this was around for Haye's HW run I'd imagine it would have been successful. Those fights really crossed over and did good PPV business.

Atm maybe Khan and Froch fights would get a decent audience. Internationally only fight that'd sell is Mayweather/Pacquiao (if it ever happens!).
