Obviously it would be a cashout for both fighters and assuming Degale isn’t a bitched about the split like he was in the past.

I personally would love for them too fight just so I could see Groves put a beating on Degale

DeGale is far more done than Groves is, so if this happens then Groves wins easily.

Callum Smith though should be making the DeGale fight next to get that name on his record. That would be next match I would be making for Callum.

I agreed with Watt and Warren that Degale should of won by 2 points against Groves. I've always wanted to see them have a rematch however this potential rematch has certainly lost some appeal with Degale looking in decline in the Traux fights and Groves coming off a loss against Smith.

Nope there both shells of their former selves
    Both need to retire
Degale giving that belt up is shameful I tell you
One thing about groves you have to take his strap ain't no way he's handing it over

I think this says it all.

Maybe with a proper rest Groves may want to go again. He said as much last night. If having thought about it he decided to call it a day however I don't think anyone would think worse of him. He's had a great career but he's started to sound jaded even before last night and he's clearly past his physical prime having gone through too many wars.

About as much interest as a future fight between Matt Skelton and Danny Williams or Amir Khan v Brook.

I would. The stoppage wasn’t that bad in this fight. His chin clearly isn’t great but he isn’t the only decent fighter to have this issue.

A PPV payday is the only reason for these fights - never happened when both fighters were relevant so completely irrelevant now.

Groves v De Gale and Khan v Brook are no different to Burns v Crolla type fights - pointless and should be on Sky Sports Red Button

Seems like people are pretty split haha, Groves has said he wants too carry on for a while longer so for me the Degale fight is the best fight for him too take, it’s a good payday and a fight I think he would win with relative ease now, I’m a big Groves fan mind you that’s why I would be interested in the fight

    It’s not PPV worthy.

Moment Degale sat on the ropes for his 1st breather he would get pummelled.

I don’t believe anyone would have the brass neck to make Groves v Degale a PPV ! It’s a meanless fight no title and both shot !

It shouldn't be ppv but i bet it is, ITV made Eubank v the Australian guy who was not as good as a British level fighter a ppv fight, so to them this would be Canelo v GGG level fight lol

Of course it would be worth a watch because of their rivalry. Groves is still a world class fighter, and DeGale a big name in the UK. It's a great comeback fight for Groves.

However, it's a tough sell with no belt on the line. I don't see it doing great PPV numbers. But who knows.

Groves would win handily. He won rounds against Callum who is the no.1 SMW in the world for me. Smith has very heavy hands on an abnormal reach. Groves never had a great chin. No shame in the stoppage loss.
