If that was Roy Jones in a British ring tonight, against one of our own? I just seen that knock out and it made me feel sick to the stomach!

I never cheer a knock-out until I know the fighter is okay.

    Roy is not okay.

    He needs to retire.

Lebedev is a **** for taking the fight. He can **** off. What does he gain from that? It's not even the ghost of Roy Jones on his resume it's the ghost of the ghost of Roy Jones at this stage.

Is Hopkins a **** too then?

He gains quite a lot actually, exposure and cash for a start. This is pro boxing, if Roy's willing to fight you can't blame hungry young prospects for accepting.

I wouldn't have cheered by the way, I wonder what people will think of Roy Jones in the future, for one of the greatest fighters ever this is a terrible way to bow out.

I didn't like the way Lebedev looked at the ref when Roy was literally out coldon his feet and then smacked him again, but really it is the referee at fault, cannot believe he didn't spot that.

I know Roy's been shot for a longtime but I feel genuinely sad, almost as if it was a family member or someone I knew personally in there.

The dude needs to start training fighters or something, he can't even protect himself in the ring anymore.

Smoger is known for letting fights go on too long.

i thought lebedev did us all a favour with that final right hook to the head that left jones splattered on the canvas.

But then Roy said after the fight in his post fight interview, "i never give up, il be back"

Firstly, why the **** did Steve Smoger allow that final punch? I mean really?

Secondly, don't blame Lebedev for taking the fight and winning. They are boxers and it's nothing to do with him if Jones wants to fight him and loses badly to him.

Thirdly, Roy Jones jr has some people around him, loved ones or otherwise, who need to get a grip and ****ing insist the guy discontinues his career. His life shortens by the fight, it's just utterly unnecessary. Is he skint or something? Either way, he should not be allowed to carry on fighting.

He needs to take a look at Gerald McClennan and think do I really want to end up like that...

If he carries on I won't watch, no matter how skint he is it's not fair on his family to do that to himself.

I hope he got a good pay cheque for tonight so that some good has atleast come of it.

Same, although I stopped watching a good while back. His career is becoming a knockout highlight reel and not the good kind.

Roy was my idol growing up, hard to take. That was my Joe Louis, Ray Leonard, Ali moment.
