As mentioned, one gloved punch will put you down, but it won't kill you. What damages boxers are sustained "pulses". Not that one punch KO, but the accumulation of punches. With my untested chin though, we wouldn't talk about accumulation, as I'd fall at the first touch.

Sure who wouldnt fight him for that much money. But anyone who thinks they could last even 2 punches form Tyson is an idiot.

The thing about 1980s Mike is that if you went down right away even if he didn't really hit you, he would probably kick you when you were on the ground, so it would be hard to escape damage.

I'd do it but maybe have a friend come over as soon as I went down and say I am mentally ill and he is my guardian.

Seriously, when Tyson was in his prime I was a 16 y.o. kid and would have jumped in the ring with the man for less. I actually had the dillusion I could do better than a few of the opponents he destroyed, thinking I could make it into round 3. :nut
I was comparing him with the best international heavyweight amateur/semi-pro karateka's and estimated him about 2 classes above that. Of course now I know that's rediculous but hey, I was a kid and wasn't beaten for a while.
He probably would have decked me inside 30 seconds, and I may have gotten some brain damage to show for it :!:
