Would you like an MMA star invited in Prizefighter?

Talking of gimmicks the Prize Fighter format is a rip off from K-1, not any amazing or inventive thinking form the Hearns.

 

Its a straight up knock out tourney, anyone who thinks its innovative know **** all. My mates would prefer it over a may weather masterclass so it does have its place.

 

The Sky pundits always heap bundles of praise at the Hearns door for "coming up" with Prize Fighter format. Anyway, it's pretty tackily done by the Hearns which no one could ever say about the original Japanese version of K1.

 

"Coming up" with **** all. I'm sure people told me the heavyweight scene nearly died a death cause of similar tournaments in the UK 30/40 years ago

 

That's possible. But I'd place my life on it the Hearns was watching a K1 event when the penny dropped.
