Let's think that Degale vs. Groves won't happen in the next couple of years.
How would you feel about Degale fighting Thomas Oosthuizen for the IBO vacant SMW title. Or how about replacing Miranda who apparently can't make the 168 limit for the bout against St.Juste and possible becoming next mandatory for Robert Stieglitz WBO title?

Having watched Degale Smith again last night I can confidently say I would put him in with either.

Might aswell let him. The **** is far better than anyone at British level other than Groves.

They'll make DeGale vs Groves either next or the fight after.

There's nothing left for them to do in Britain..... the world class guys are too risky right now or are tied up elsewhere.

In an ideal world, I'd make DeGale vs Anderson (the lad Groves beat last time out) and Groves vs Smith..... to see who does the better job on the other's most recent opponent.

Not sure Smith will fancy it though, I can see a warm up fight and a drop to 160.

One thing I can say though.... there's nothing wrong with DeGale's chin. He's sparred Tony Bellew and Nathan Cleverly (both unbeaten light heavies) and emerged unscathed.

Groves was apparently smacked around by Froch.....

agreed in part.....right here right now, degale v groves....degale wins however, if groves finds a worldclass trainer, groves wins. i think groves has the better skill and good power but his conditioning and stamina is poor due to the unorthadox training methods of booth. degale has great talent and great power but fights IMO very off balance....once hes really tested, we ll see wot hes made of....but props to him for defeating smith but degale v groves.......degale all day long.
