Leonard last year mentioned the idea of a fab four based contender, which would've been off the charts.

Apparently. Although Marvin would likely have been a sticking point.

Middleweight-; Have a mostly from the U.S. with a mix. Most of them aren't that great and their records are either but then again you can't have the real active ones on a show like the Contender.

    Bronco McKart
    Elvin Ayala
    Andy Kolle
    Harry Joe Yorgey
    Joaquin Zamora
    Adam Trupish (Canada)
    Robbie Bryant
    Lamar Russ
    Joacin Alcine
    Billi Godoy (Argentina)
    Saul Roman (Mexico)
    Kerry Hope (Great Britain)

    What do you guys think?

Lot's of competitive fights to be made there. None of the guys should hold out for a bundle of cash, either. Solid. :good

I think lightweight to WW. Or go big and do heavyweight.

But imo there's more talent to be found at the lower weights.

I'd watch it but obviously it needs a good bit of change from the format it had previously. The first season was clearly the best in my view, with a decent mix of veterans and prospects, and good personality clashes to help the reality TV aspect, but the edited fights and lack of knockouts hurt, the pre-fight challenges were goofy(though they did add some humor), and some of the fighters just weren't even near the class of the others.

I think if they were to do it, I'd just prefer they make it more like the Super Six Tournament, with the show matching up prospects in a Round Robin style deal and have the "reality" aspect be just a profile of the matchup of the week training and learning about their actual boxing team. Make that about half the episode, and the other half the fight of the week unedited.

Also, since someone mentioned they wanted to see it, it's all up on Youtube, here's playlists for each season.

    Season 1: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9605114D61292F43
    Season 2: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL642A683EC7161E3D
    Contender UK vs USA: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL53F9D2FBFA63B305
    Season 3: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC7067B191434DDAF
    Season 4: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLF5C5876F60B7F13C
    Contender Australia: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL74955BFAFAC03071

Oh, and though Season 1 was in my opinion the best of the series by a fairly wide margin, the Season 3 Finale is the best fight in the show's history.

They should just steal the way The Ultimate fighter is run I like the production much better than The contender's two coaches with two teams make it much more exciting
