Would you like to see a Calzaghe V Hopkins rematch?

I'm not sure. It is 100% guaranteed to be boring, and you will never get everybody to agree on the outcome. So it would probably be pointless.

 

I want to see it. Naazim Richardson is now back in Hopkins' corner. Hopkins seems like he wants to be more active in the ring. Hopkins lack of activity killed him against Calzaghe. Nard was landing the cleaner punches but got outworked. A rematch might go differently

You're right, he was in his corner but he wasn't the lead trainer. The Joke Coach was. Richardson has now resumed full head trainer duties.

 

calzaghe wont beat jones. so no i dont want to see that fight even tho i havent seen the first. i want to see jones and hopkins. hopkins would win this and then retire.

Well, first I believe Jones will beat Calzaghe but if he doesn't then yes I would like to see the rematch.

there have been alot less deserving rematches than this

it was a close tough fight between two elite pound for pounders

However the stumbling block here would be Calzaghe

I dont think Calzaghe would fancy facing B HOP again

 

After last nights fight id love to see a rematch, especially if BHop fights the same way as he did against Pav - though I dont think he would fight in this style vs Calzaghe.
I think if BHOP uses his new found adventurous approach he will be beaten quite soundly.
The reason he fought so defensively against Joe in the first fight was a tactic to make Joe come to him and force Joe to change his style as he is a natural counter puncher. This approach to draw JC in was quite successful when it lasted but if Bhop opened up I think he would be countered quite easily andit would suit Joe.
As a Calzaghe fan if they do fight again I hope BHop goes for it because for me it will be his undoing!

 

your right, i cant imagine many would want to fight hopkins again after winning a close decision in a hugging match, calzaghe should not take this fight again.
