That's where the money and the legacy fights will be now.

Basically, why doesn't he move up to 175lbs ?

Because he is a spoilt brat with no heart.

Good luck to him getting any meaningful fights @ 168. Nobody needs him now.

I would like to see him up against the hardpunching LHW's as of late, but I don't think he will.

I would like to see Ward do anything period.

I'm not really a fan, but I feel bad for him. The guy is squandering his prime. Seriously, wtf is going on. Fight someone.

    Now.

I dont think it would make much sense unless Kovalev beats Hopkins.

SMW is an empty division where Ward has feasted on already beaten fighters and not fought top undefeated fighters.

LHW is not exactly full of top fighters, and if Hopkins beats Kovalev, it will probably have less to offer.

I think Ward has DeGale, at SMW, if he doesnt get the Froch fight and if Kovalev were to lose to Hopkins

Ward should move up and I'm sure at some point he will.
That will likely be when BHOP formally retires next year and the boxoff begins to get the new LHW undisputed champion.

I'd like to see him grow into the weightclass and not let his critics force him there. Plenty of fighters like Carlos Monzon and Marvin Hagler spent practically their whole careers at 1 weight class

For me if he moved up it would easily be the best division in boxing right now!

I hope he fights GGG first, then moves up. LHW is getting interesting, SMW fading - so if he wants to be the star he thinks he should be he needs to fight GGG first, then move LHW and fight there after the division has gained a bit more steam.

    Definitely .

    Very talented fighter .

I would love to see how he reacts to full fledged LHW .

More fights to test him .

He even said himself that one day we will see him fight at Heavyweight .

I don't like his chances up there , but I would love to see him prove me wrong
