this footage of louis v conn 1 appears to be in colour....cant find it anywhere {in colour} though...

wow i've never seen this before. Conn's punching looks really impressive. Louis' power and toughness just trumps it though

 

Pretty sure I've seen all that footage in B&W, so I would have to presume it was colorized in post.

 

No, the the colour segment of the Wizzard of Oz, wasn't much better than the black and white beginning.

 

He did a poor job with the color of King Kong.

It got degraded, the buildings went from looking real in black and white to looking like models in the color version lol.

 

Still, even with color, you wont be able to see the sailor tattoo on Sharkey's chest, because of the film, Its all guess work.

I have seen parts of Dempsey Willard color, and in the color version, you cant see the bloody Willard at all, were the black and white footage, the blood was as clear as night and day.

The color hls made it look worse and fake imo.
