I'd prefer to see Gamboa fight John first and Broner to get another couple of wins under his belt. The 130lb division is weak but if he beat Fana and Burns and became Ring champion, the fight would be more important. I'll take Gamboa over anyone under 135.
I was just thinking about a Gamboa/Broner (the mayweather wannabe) but then reality hit me.....Its a GBP vs Top Rank and they won't fight atsch I really hope someone puts this clown down! Broner has the tools but I don't like the fact that he ran like a littlbe ***** on his last fight and prefered to win by points when he could of gone for the KO just like the did against Litzau. He has pretty good offensive skills.
Damn! Please mail me some of that **** that you be smokin'. Broner was given a gift decision against the older and slower Ponce de Leon and you think he will knockout Gamboa?
Broner will get his track shoes on big time in this one fight. I fully expect Gamboa to outbox him, and if Adrien Broner puts it on the line he's going to get thumped.
Broner is not quite ready for Gamboa. Gamboa can clean out the featherweight division first -which pretty much now leaves Chris John as he's already beaten Salido who KO'd Lopez (unless Lopez gets a rematch and wins) Broner can beat some of the guys at the top of the super featherweight division as most of them have iffy records and are only at the top because its a weak division like Fana, Uchiyama and Burns. The only guy I see beating Broner who is currently in the division is Jorge Solis.
GBP and Top Rank have agreed to work with each other again, so that shouldn't stop the fight happening. If they do meet down the line, Gamboa sends him home on the same elephant he rode in on.
