yes, if Haye could KO him out, he'll probably quit , finally (although very unlikely at the same time)
The problem is that Haye would KO him and it would be pretty violent. If it means that he would quite I guess its fine but why waste a title defense on a 47 year old fighter who lacks the punch, work rate and endurance to conceivably make it competitive. It would be a sadist's dream to watch Haye beat him up....
I would like to see it just because Holyfield was the last cruiser to win the heavyweight title - but Evander doesn't deserve a shot and it more than likely would be a complete blowout for Haye and a sad punishing defeat for The Real Deal.
Why not fight first another outstanding cruiserweight champion in Juan Carlos Gomez (the 12 in boxrec)
people would like to see it until haye stops him, then it'll be " poor holyfield, he should of never of been allowed to get in the ring"
Considering I've read reports about Haye retiring within the next couple years, I'd rather he not waste the prime of his career fighting meaningless fights against 50 year old men who think he's an easy target.
Honestly? No. I think Haye is a bad match-up for Holyfield. He has quicker hands. He's mobile. He has enough power to hurt Holyfield. He also, most importantly, has the attitude to want to knock Holyfield out to 'make a statement'. No thanks. Let Evander continue the seniors tour instead, please.
