Would you like to see Ortiz vs Khan at 147 now?

    Well it is a possibility seeing as they both need fights.

    Khan needs to move up to 147 pretty soon and Ortiz is in the need to fight a credible opponent, however seeing as they are both Golden Boy fighters, will this fight even happen?

    I'm sure Ortiz and Khan will both face lower class opponents and win however at this point of their careers, is that the type of fight they need?

    The promotion for this fight would be great as they both fought each other in the amateurs and have had their recent fights called off for similar reasons.

    Would you want to see this? Or have them fight someone else?

    And what are the chances of this fight even happening?

    Think Victor can steamroll all opponents Ellie mentioned. He just needs to come into the fight as 'the boy who fought possessed'.

    I would like to see it in december (end of the year) but now it's unrealistc for khan, he was meant to fight a 140 orthodox fighter - victor is a 147 fighter who comes in at 165 and a southpaw, I think this is a great fight - but want both to be at their best

    Would prefer Ortiz-Alexander or Khan-Alexander though.

    The only reason I'm going to think about it rather than a straight yes is because I have real concerns about Khan's ability to compete at the top level at 147.But then I hardly want him to feel his way in so **** it.Yes.

    He wants Mayweather... why would he be apprehensive of Ortiz...

    Does he want money or Glory, Cause ortiz there if he wants some.

    Most fighters want Mayweather for the same reason they all wanted Ray in the 80's
    BUT...
    This is what I was getting at.I've had concerns for a while about Khan having a real lack of power at 147,but like I said,it would hardly be fun to watch him slowly feel his way into the weight,so from a fight fan's perspective,I'd hardly engage in an armed protest if it was announced.

    As far as I remember, Khan claimed he wants to dominate 140 first before moving up. He still has some decent options to go for at 140 before moving up.

    Don't see Khan taking Ortiz at 147 right now like a poster above said. Would love to see the fight though.
